SCHOOL YEAR 2019-2020
Mena Public Schools used the following evidenced-based Orton Gillingham approved programs to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia:
- Barton Reading & Spelling System
- MindPlay Virtual Reading Coach
- Winsor’s Sonday System
- Lindamood –Bell Visualizing and Verbalizing for Language Comprehension and Thinking
NUMBER OF STUDENT WHO RECEIVED DYSLEXIA INTERVENTION
74 students attending Mena Public Schools received dyslexia intervention services by trained interventionists.
116 students were identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia.
SCHOOL YEAR 2018-2019

During the 2017-2018 school year, Mena Public Schools used the following evidenced-based programs to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia: Barton Reading & Spelling System and MindPlay
73 students attending Mena Public School District received dyslexia intervention services from a trained dyslexia interventionist.
23 students attending Mena Public School District were identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia.
