Mena Middle School Principal Todd Coogan has announced that MMS recently received a grant from the Arkansas Literacy Tutoring Grant Program. MMS teacher, Alicia Farringer, applied for the $500.00 grant and she is currently a level 4 certified tutor for the Arkansas Tutoring Corp.
Arkansas’s Literacy Tutoring Grant Program established under the LEARNS Act provides grants for public schools who are at risk of reading difficulties.
