Mena Bearcat Coaches have selected #84, Jaxon Baber, as the Farm Bureau Insurance Player of the Game vs. Lincoln.

Jaxon is a Senior, Cornerback for the Bearcats and is the son of Nick and Jennifer Baber. Jaxon had 3 interceptions for
the night, including a 25 yard, Pick 6 for a touchdown! He also had 1 pass deflection and 5 tackles. The Bearcats came
back from a 21 point deficit in the last quarter, but wound up losing to the Wolves by a final score of 45-42. Mena’s
record now stands at 2-1 for the season.

When Jaxon is not involved in school activities, he and his Dad enjoy working on cars together. They are currently
rebuilding a 2017 Jaguar XE and a 2019 Chevy Camaro Convertible, which he hopes to have restored before going
to Fayetteville next year, to study Mechanical Engineering at the UofA.

This week, Mena will host the Riverview Pirates, who are also 2-1 for the season and who’s offense scored 56 points last
Friday night. Kickoff will be at 7 pm at Randall Whorton Field.
