
An extensive paving project began on Monday at Bob Carver Bearcat Stadium. BCBS will remain closed to the public until the project is completed.

The Sr. Ladycats are headed home after three days at the Harding Team Camp.


The Mena Jr. Girls wrapped up the Harding Team Camp on Tuesday. Coach Goss said, "I saw tons of improvement and I'm very proud of their effort these 3 days."

MENA GOLF,BASEBALL, SOFTBALL & TRACK ON THE MOVE FOR 22-24 CYCLE.
Conference alignments have been approved by the Arkansas Activities Association board of directors for tennis, golf, baseball, softball, track & field and soccer for the 2022-24 competition cycle.
Baseball, softball, soccer and track & field conferences are tentative as spring sports have until Dec. 1 to declare.
It was announced previously that Mena basketball would be moving to the 4A-4 as well & Mena football will be moving to the 4A-7....

The Whitt & Watkins Basketball Academy began on Thursday at the Union Bank Center. The morning session is for 1st-8th grades & the afternoon session is for 9th-12th grades. It continues on Friday & Saturday. GO BEARCATS !!!

Mena Ladycat KENSEY ROSSON has been named to the SBLive All-State Softball Team. Rosson will be a Jr. in 2022/2023 & had .618 batting average with 1 homerun last season.

The Senior High Bearcats went to Ouachita Baptist University today for a team camp! Great reps , great work and should have some great film to learn off of! Go Bearcats and thanks to OBU for hosting and feeding our boys!

Work continues on the turf project at Bob Carver Bearcat Stadium.
When completed it will be followed by an extensive paving project as well. The stadium and track will remain closed to the public until those projects are both completed.

Mena Senior High Cheer team attended a National Cheer Association team camp at Hendrix College in Conway this past week!
They received many team and individual awards and recognitions including:
Sharp for Sophia Award
SAFE Stunting Award
2nd Place in Cheer Competition
Qualification for Nationals
Kiylee Hughes & Shantal Tecson were named NCA All American Cheerleaders.
Patience Ferguson was selected by NCA staff to tryout to teach for them next summer.

The Mena Jr. High Cheerleaders attended camp at Hendrix this week. They worked on many skills and made many improvements. They have worked so hard and it has paid off!

Lily Kate Doughty.
As a team Mena earned most improved, a stunt safe award, a bid to Nationals, a spirit stick, and 1st place for the Jr High Band Chant!

The Little Ladycats Camp got underway on Wednesday at the Union Bank Center. It was a great first day with 60 campers.
We will welcome any new campers Thursday, $30.


The Junior Ladycat’s competed in Spring Queen where they were tested in vertical, mile, 400, 100, squat, bench, power clean and push press. Several girls met the challenge. Including Elliott Dugan, Ava Fields, Emmi Hensley, Chloe Stepp, Kylene Denton, Alayna Gilbert, Pascha Wistrand, Kate Wilson, Anabelle Peters, Jayden Cox, Chloe Hooper.
Kylene Denton was crowned our Spring Queen.

The Senior High Bearcats started spring ball yesterday! Good effort and energy with a lot to work on! Great job Bearcats!
