Based on the changes in COVID guidance announced by the Governor yesterday and further explanation from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Mena Public Schools will no longer do contact tracing or quarantine probable close contacts. We will continue to follow the same departmental guidance for COVID positive cases and for students or staff who are showing symptoms.

This is a very important, much needed change to keep students in school and to help teachers and staff remain at work on behalf of our students. We will continue to urge students and staff who are symptomatic to stay at home until they are well.
