After consulting Polk County leaders about road conditions and seeing the rain forecast for tomorrow morning, Mena Public Schools is announcing that it will close tomorrow, September 2nd, for the safety of all students and employees. This will be an AMI day.

Mena students showed goats & sheep at the Polk County Livestock Show on Monday. Cattle will be on Wednesday & swine on Thursday at the Polk County Fairgrounds.

HHE Students were sent home with their chrome books and chargers today. This should enable them to work on today’s assignments even though we are not on campus. You should be able to reach your child’s teacher via Seesaw if you have any questions.

Due to dangerous water levels and the threat of more heavy rain, Mena Public Schools will be closing all schools and releasing students this morning at 8:30. All after school activities are cancelled, as well.
