As a parent, watching your child learn and grow is one of life’s greatest rewards. If you notice
that your child is having difficulty reaching developmental milestones compared to their peers,
don’t worry—support is available.
The Mena Public School District is committed to identifying, locating, and evaluating children
with known or suspected disabilities who reside within the district boundaries. This process helps
determine whether your child may benefit from special education and related services.
If you have concerns about a child from birth through age 21 who may have special needs, please
contact your local school or the education service cooperative to learn more about available
services and support.
