MMS Announcements for Friday, May 3rd Reminders: Talent Show try outs are next Wednesday after school, 3:30, in the MMS Choir room. 8th grade Cossatot Trip Permission Slips need to be turned in asap. The trip is scheduled for Tuesday. 8th grade ETS students will be meeting in the Choir room after these announcements. There are still 15 yearbooks available for purchase. If you would like to purchase one, you can see Mrs. Lunsford after these announcements. Since we did not meet in ACHIEVE this week, all students will be allowed to participate in Flex Friday activities today, unless you are one of the students that needs to see Mrs. Chaney. I will read that list at the end of these announcements. From Mrs. Rose: 7th graders, remember that your fishing derby is Monday, weather permitting. Your group fishing times are posted on the Library windows. You can only use your own fishing pole if you are a car rider or a parent meets you at the pond. You will not be allowed on a bus with a fishing pole. Same thing if you want to keep the fish you catch…a parent or guardian must take the fish home from the pond. Students in Lunch “A”: If you choose to go through the Concession line today, you will need to get your tray, then walk over to the computer by the salad bar, to enter your number. Handing out and signing of yearbooks will take place tomorrow during 7th period. If you still want to order one of the extra yearbooks, see Mrs. Lunsford in the EAST room, right after these announcements. 8th grade ETS students will be meeting this Friday during ACHIEVE. MMS Announcements for Friday, April 26th Reminders: Today is the deadline to turn in all Talent Show forms to Mrs. Lunsford. Next Tuesday is the deadline for applications for Spotlight Singer Auditions to be turned in to Ms. Taylor. Yearbooks will be arriving next week. They are sending 25 extra copies that are for sale. If you would like to purchase one of these, there are ordering forms in the office. The yearbooks are $33 each. Upcoming Events: Today: Softball & Baseball will be hosting Arkadelphia at 4:30 and the MHS Senior High Choir and Spotlight Singers will have their Spring Concert at the MHS PAC at 7:00. Monday: The Mena boys’ Soccer Team will host the Hope Bobcats at 4:30 for the 1st round of the District Tournament.
