Reminders:
The at home laundry assignment for FCSI students is due today.
You can sign up in the office to lead the morning Pledge.

Any 7th grade student that might be interested in being a Library Aide next year can go see Mrs. Brooks at the end of these announcements.
Upcoming Events:
Today: High School softball & baseball teams will be hosting Hope at 4:30.
Tomorrow: Special Olympics at Bearcat Stadium, starting at 10:30.
In case you were not aware, two weeks from today, April 19th, is Good Friday and there will be no school that day.

The Mena Jr. High track teams competed in the Jr. Scrapper Relays in Nashville on Tuesday... The Ladycats finished 5th out of 17 teams & the Bearcats were 10th... Here are the individual results beginning with the Ladycats.

Congratulations to Mr. Bradford and the MMS Band. They received a First Division Superior Rating for both their concert and sight-reading performances at the Region 8 Concert and Sight-Reading Assessment yesterday, making them a 2019 Sweepstakes Band. Great job!

Saturday: Special Olympics at Bearcat Stadium, starting at 10:30.

The Mena Middle School Band received a First Division Superior Rating for both their concert and sight-reading performances at the Region 8 Concert and Sight-Reading Assessment yesterday, making them a 2019 Sweepstakes Band.
The students presented themselves in a professional manner and represented the school and the community of Mena well. Thank you for your support and for influencing and encouraging students each day.


We hope you enjoyed the 6th grade musical. Ms. Taylor, the cast & crew worked very hard & it showed. Congratulations to these talented students on putting together a fantastic show!

UCA GirlsCode Summer Camp sponsored by the College of Education and the STEM Institute:
Budding computer scientists entering grades 5 to 8 may attend {GirlsCode}. Campers will have opportunities to explore computer programming and robotics while developing their computational thinking and problem solving skills. Sample projects include: unplugged coding escape room, block-based coding for Sphero and Lego Mindstorms robots, and Swift and Scratch programming.

Mena MIddle School announcements for Monday, April 1st
Today is the 141st day of school with only 37 school days remaining.
Right after these announcements, 8th grade ETS students will be meeting in the Choir room.
From Mrs. Breedlove: Any 6th grader who signed up for next year’s 7th grade squad has a mandatory parent meeting this evening at 5:30 in the MMS Library. Also, the 7th grade and JH cheerleaders will be having a bake sale at Walmart this Saturday.
