LDE Book Fair is next week!


With today being 2020 Spring Sports Picture Day for all the spring teams and players, we will be able to complete the design of the 2020 Mena Spring Sports Souvenir Program. If you would like to purchase an ad for your player or your business, please contact Andy Philpot at bearcatpromos@gmail.com
The programs will be designed and printed by the end of spring break, with the selling of programs at Mena home baseball, softball, and soccer games starting the week after spring break.

The Bearcats earned a hard fought 14-12 win over Hope Tuesday at Union Bank Park. Mena improves to 5-1 on the young season & will play at Lake Hamilton on Thursday.. GO BEARCATS!




The Ladycats bested Hope by a score of 12-2 in 5 innings at Union Bank Park on Tuesday. Mena is now 3-1 on the year & will be back in action on Thursday 3/12 when they play at Dierks. GO LADYCATS!!

Sports Activities
Softball and Baseball will both play after school today as they play Hope here at home
Tomorrow afternoon will be Spring Sports Picture Day with Lifetouch and Mr. Philpot. Team and individual player photos will be taken for all spring sports teams, with the option of purchasing photos from Lifetouch. These photos will be used for the yearbook, as well as the spring sports souvenir program.
FFA Workday Auction will be Monday March 16 at the HS Cafeteria @ 6:30 PM. FFA members who are in the auction should be there by 6:00 pm.
HUB Program Applications are still available in Mrs. Buckley's office. If you are interested in the HUB program for 2020-2021, you are welcome to pick up an application in the office.
Any student or group of students interested in auditioning for one of the talent acts in the Lip Sync Variety Show needs to talk to Ms. Taylor before Spring Break. We are looking for dance acts, gymnastics acts, instrumental performances, vocal performances, comedy routines, and other entertaining talents. See Ms. Taylor and get signed up today!!!
Theatre I classes will be performing two short one act plays, The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza and The Entire American Revolution, this weekend on Saturday @ 7:30 pm and Sunday @ 2:30 pm. Admission is by donation. Come out and see the shows.

6th grade ETS students will be meeting tomorrow during ACHIEVE and 7th grade ETS will be meeting next Monday.
Magic Springs money and permission slips are due Friday.
Friday is the end of the 3rd grading quarter.
Spring pictures will take place one week from Thursday, March 19th. There are extra picture forms in the front office. These pictures are voluntary.
