Scotty Jenkins, our set builder for Oz, came today to talk about set building, acting, and directing comedies. He starred in his first play at 17 and has been involved in community theatre since. Thanks for coming to speak for our Spotlight on the Theatre Artist Series.

Mena High School student Renesa Khanijow has passed all the required Microsoft Office Specialist tests (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Word Expert, and Excel Expert) to become a Microsoft Office Master!

We will have the annual free physicals on Tuesday, May 14. All coaches will hand out the physical forms. Ladycats will be at 5:30 PM in the UBC and Bearcats will follow. This is the only opportunity to provide free physicals.

The Bearcat soccer team will play Dardanelle today at 4 against Dardanelle at Batesville Southside in the 4A State Soccer Tournament.
If you have a pig displayed in the library, please go by and pick it up to take home. Ms. Hoyle wants to say thank you to all the artists for the amazing art and for sharing it with the school!
If you want a copy of the Lip Sync DVD, you must pay $10 to Ms. Kropp by today.
The Scholarship/Completer Assembly will be May 17th at 8:30 (Not May 10th).
Graduation Practice will be after assembly at Bearcat Stadium.
Seniors by today you need to make sure all fines and lunch dues are paid, that you have brought back books from on-line classes at RMCC, accept your Arkansas Challenge money, and sign up in the office for your final transcript to be sent.

On Wednesday May 9th, MHS Senior Tyra Dollarhyde received her D1.1 SMAW Welding Certification through the UARM Welding Program. This certification allows Tyra to work as a certified SMAW welder. We are so proud of Tyra and her accomplishments. Her future is bright!
