Mena Bearcat & Ladycat Wrestling competed in the Bauxite Brawl Tournament on Saturday. The Bearcats took 3rd overall as a team. Mena High School NEHS went to Louise Durham to read to second graders. They passed out candy canes, Santa letters and got a special visit from the big man himself.

Mena Wrestling hosted matches against Dover and Subiaco on Thursday in the Union Bank Center.

The Mena Bands performed their Christmas Concert for a packed house on Thursday in the MHS Performing Arts Center

Mena Sr. Bearcat Basketball played Greenwood at the Union Bank Center on Tuesday. Sr. JV Bearcats-15 Greenwood-35 Sr, Bearcats-63 (6-3) Greenwood-62 The Bearcats are back in action on Wednesday at the Choctaw Nation Invitational Tournament. The boys play Rattan at 3:00pm.

Students from Mena High School had the opportunity to visit UA Cossatot, where they explored a variety of programs and enjoyed a guided tour of the campus.

The Mena Ladycats and Bearcats will be playing in the Choctaw Nation Invitational December 12th-14th. The Bearcats play Rattan at 3:00pm and the Ladycats play Howe at 4:20pm on Wednesday in Talihina OK.

Mena High School students competed in the DeQueen Mena Educational Cooperatives Capture The Flag Cybersecurity Event on Thursday. Isabel Vacca, Zachary Sweet, Dorian Knight, Elijah Smith won 1st place.

Mena High School Theatre students performed "White Christmas" for Holly Harshman Elementary on Wednesday. A performance for MMS will follow on Friday. Public performances will be Saturday at 7:00pm and Sunday at 2:30pm in the MHS Performing Arts Center.
