Mena High School Theatre Students presented a skit with a drug free message at the Louise Durham Elementary Rise and Shine Event on Friday to wrap up Red Ribbon Week.

The Mena Ladycats played Baptist Prep in the 4A South Regional Tournament on Thursday. Mena Ladycats-0 Baptist Prep-3 15-25/14-25/17/25 Mena will play Pocahontas at 5:00pm on Tuesday, October 29th at the 4A State Tournament in Huntsville.

The Mena Ladycats have advanced to the championship game at the 4A South Regional Volleyball Tournament. Mena Ladycats-3 Pulaski Academy-0 27-25/25-23/25-21 Mena will play the winner of the Baptist Prep/Arkadelphia game on Thursday at 7pm in the Union Bank Center.

The Mena Ladycats opened the 4A South Regional Volleyball Tournament on Tuesday with a win. Ladycats-3 Robinson-0 Mena is back in action on Wednesday at 5:00pm when they play the winner of the Malvern/Pulaski Academy game in the Union Bank Center. A great day for Mena High School freshman Richie Davis on Thursday. Davis shot an 81 and tied for 9th in the Arkansas Overall State Golf Championship at Pleasant Valley Golf Club in Little Rock.

Mena Homecoming practice was Thursday morning at Bob Carver Bearcat Stadium. The Homecoming Ceremony is Scheduled for 6:30pm on Friday in BCBS.

Students from Mena High School recently had the opportunity to participate in a Career Tour at Mena Regional Health System. During the visit, they explored various career paths within the medical field available right here in our local community. The students also gained valuable insights into the daily operations of each profession. A big thank you to MRHS for welcoming our students and offering this enriching experience!

This is Spirit Week at Mena High School and Tuesday was "Despicable Me" day. Students were encouraged to dress up as there favorite character. Wednesday students will dress as something that starts with the first initial of their first name.

MHS teachers and staff are kicking off homecoming week by wearing their “BED ROT” while engaging in professional development. Tuesday’s dress up day is DESPICABLE ME.
