Mr. Philpot announced today that we have secured a retakes and make-up picture day with Lifetouch for our School Pictures, which will be on Wednesday, November 11. Originally, Lifetouch wasn't going to be able to offer a make-up pics and retakes day, but once they finally got all their schools scheduled for their official picture day, they were able to look at possible dates to offer retake and make-up pics, so we're fortunate to get this date.

It was stated that Mr. Morgan spends countless hours working out the logistics of practices and performances. He always has a smile on his face, is highly motivated, and always pushes you to be your very best. Mr. Morgan is a great person and an amazing educator. ADMISSION TICKETS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED ON THURSDAY 10/15 FOR THE OZARK/MENA FOOTBALL GAME WHICH WILL BE PLAYED ON FRIDAY 10/16 AT BOB CARVER BEARCAT STADIUM. There will be a limited number of tickets available to the general public that can be picked up at the Central Office on Thursday 10/15 from 8:00am to 3:45pm. The visiting team and fans will enter the stadium through the large gate at the Northside of the stadium. The visiting bleachers have been marked off to ensure proper social distancing. Please wear your mask and social distance while attending the game Visiting fans must present their tickets and pay at the gate.

The Mena Basscats were in action Sunday on Lake Maumelle. This was the first Tournament of the season for Trader Bills High School Tournament Trail. This was the first time for the Basscats to compete on Lake Maumelle. Austin Rose and Jarrett Burger came in 8th place.

The Mena High School Band will compete in the Region VIII Marching Assessment on Tuesday. This year the judges will come to us. We will perform at Bearcat Stadium at 3:00 PM. It is open to the public following all social distancing guidelines as directed by AAA and ASBOA.
