Students, please remember, you have to have money in your account to buy extras. Do not get extras unless you pay for it first.
Lunch A students: Due to the amount of trash left in the library after Lunch A yesterday, the library is closed for Lunch A for the rest of this week, and also Monday of next week. We will try again on Tuesday on a trial basis of good behavior and picking up after yourselves.
Students are not to be in the hallways during Lunch A or Lunch B. The library, cafeteria, or patio are available areas during lunch.

JUNIOR MEETING IN THE PAC ON FRIDAY DURING ENRICHMENT WITH JOSTENS FOR SENIOR RINGS!
All students who sold FFA meat products need to turn-in all money to Mr.Collins or Mr. Maye by Monday Nov.18
Next Wednesday, November 20, will be School Day Pictures Make-Up Day and Retakes with Lifetouch. Anyone who missed the original picture day in September or wishes to get retakes, we will be taking pictures in the safe room on Wednesday morning. Even if you don’t plan to buy pictures, we need your photo for the yearbook.
The high school showing of The Yellow Boat will be Thursday, November 21st at 9:15 am. Bring $5 to your 2nd period teacher on that day. Make sure you are finished with your second chance breakfast before you go. There is no food, drinks, gum or candy in the PAC. Those who don’t want to attend will go to the library.
AE is hosting a food drive for God’s Feeding Hands Ministry through November 15. If your Enrichment class elects to participate, please bring a canned good to your Enrichment class. The class that donates the most, will receive a pizza party provided by AE.
EAST Group Yearbook Photo will be Monday, Nov 18 during Enrichment. Meet in the HS EAST Classroom at 10:45 am.
Art Club has a meeting scheduled for Friday, Nov. 22nd. Please pay your dues to attend.
Tuesday, Dec. 3rd will be the Art Club’s yearbook picture. All art club members that have paid their dues must come to the art room at the beginning of Enrichment to get a quick photo.


Come see the Mena High School production of "The Yellow Boat" on Saturday 11/16 at 7:30pm & Sunday 11/17 at 2:30pm in the Performing Arts Center. Admission is $5.00.. We will see you there!

Michael Povey & Jake the Wonder Dog visited the FCCLA at Mena High School this morning. Povey educated the students on the Humane Society of the Ouachitas & Jake was just happy to be there!

Logan Myers has been named all state & will represent Mena in the River Valley All Star Meet for Western Arkansas Saturday 11/16 at Mansfield High School! GO LOGAN!!!

The Mena Ladycat Basketball Team will compete in the Robinson Invitational next week. The first game is Monday 11/18 at 5:00pm... GO LADYCATS!!!


Fans are welcome to gather in the Bearcat Stadium parking lot TO cheer the team as they head to Gosnell for the first 4A State Playoff game.. GO BEARCATS!!!

The first basketball games of the season were played at the Union Bank Center Monday night.. The first game saw the Mena Jr. Girls beat Mt. Pine 48-14. The Mena Jr. Boys beat the Red Devils 47-38 & the Mena Sr. Girls also won by a final score of 48-10... The Jr. Teams play at Greenwood on Tuesday & the Sr. Girls play at the Robinson Invitation on 11/18, 11/20 & 11/23..
