The final deadline to order a Senior Ad for the 2021 MHS Yearbook will be this Thursday, December 17. This is also the deadline to submit photos and wording for the ad design. For more information, see Mr. Philpot in Room 205.
Please release the Ladycats at 1:45 today, and the bus leaves at 2:00 for their game at Alma.
Be sure to order your copy of the 2021 Mena High School Yearbook for the current lowest price of $55 before December 31. You may order online at www.jostensyearbooks.com with credit or debit card, or order through Mr. Philpot’s room 205 with cash or check.
This Wednesday, December 16, will be the Second Annual MHS Ugly Christmas Sweater day here on campus. We’re encouraging everyone to wear their Christmas sweaters that day to help celebrate the fun of the season. There will be prizes for the top sweaters for students and faculty.
Senior Shirts are $15 each, and can be purchased with cash or check. If you would like to order a 2021 Senior Shirt, order through Mr. Philpot in Room 205. The deadline to place your order is this Thursday, December 17. All shirts must be paid for in advance at the time of ordering.
Orders are also being taken for underclassmen shirts, with the order deadline being this Thursday, December 14. The cost for a Freshmen, Sophomores, or Juniors shirt is $15, and can be ordered with cash or check through Mr. Philpot’s room 205.
Tomorrow will be Lifetouch Sports Pictures Day for all the basketball teams, Bearcat Chorus, Spotlight Singers, Cross Country, Middle School Band, and 7th Grade Football. Please be in attendance for picture day to be part of the assembled team and group photos.

The Bearcats had the lead at half but fell to Fountain Lake by a score of 64-32. Mena will look for their first win of the season tomorrow (12/12) at Waldron.


The Mena Sr. Ladycats are 3-0 & picked up a win in their first home game of the season 56-46 over fountain Lake on Friday. They will play again tomorrow (12/12) at Waldron... GO LADYCATS!!!

The Christmas Wrapping Elves at Mena High School have begun wrapping gifts for the MHS teachers and staff.


The Mena Ladycats & Bearcats host Fountain Lake on Friday 12/11/20 at the Union Bank Center.
There will be a limited number of tickets available to the general public that can be picked up at the Central Office on Friday from 8:00am to 3:45pm. You must wear a mask to the Central Office when picking up tickets.

Mena High School Senior LOGAN MYERS signed his letter of intent at the University of Arkansas Rich Mountain on Thursday. Myers will be running cross country for the Bucks in 2021 !!! GO LOGAN!!! GO BEARCATS!!!

The Mena 7th Grade & Jr. Girls & Boys play at Fountain Lake on Thursday. The first game begins at 4:30pm.
