Congratulations to Mena High School senior CADENCE BARNES who auditioned and was accepted into the Arkansas Tech Band last weekend.

LDE, HHE & MMS are collecting pop tops in support of Ronald McDonald House. The drive continues through May. The program raises funds , through recycling, that helps pay for families to stay at the Ronald McDonald House while their child is receiving treatment at the hospital.

"The Young and the Senseless" Theatre II students at Mena High School performed for 8th grade students in the Performing Arts Center on Thursday. What a fun show !

Mena coaches have selected #12 Emily Leonard & #3 Blake Brown as the Farm Bureau Insurance Players of the Month for February. Emily is the daughter of Justin & Monica Leonard. For January she averaged 7 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assist & 2 steals per game. Blake is the son of Scott & Randi Brown. His January statistics included 6 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assist & 3 steals per game. GO BEARCATS !!!
