Kindergarteners are building a turkey coop to house our turkey until Thanksgiving.
1st graders are making a boat after learning a little about the Mayflower.
2nd graders are building a device that helps poor Farmer Fred (he broke his leg) get corn/pumpkins out to the turkey.

Congratulations to Mena Head Volleyball Coach Heather Goss for being named the 2025 4A-6 Conference Coach of the Year.

Mena Middle & High School FCCLA Officers recently attended Chapter Officer Leader Academy. The officers attended workshops on membership engagement, chapter plan of work, recruitment and leadership. Students also had an insider campus tour and lunch in the campus cafe!

The Mena High School Theatre Department's public performance of "The Hobbit" is Saturday, November 15th at 7:00pm in the MHS Performing Arts Center.

Jaden is the lucky winner of yesterday’s Red Ribbon Week activity! Students searched the halls of Mena High School to find hidden red ribbons, and Jaden’s ribbon was the one drawn—earning him a brand-new pair of AirPods!

Yesterday’s theme was “Drugs Can’t Find Me,” reminding us all to stay strong and make positive choices!

Mena FFA members have made it to Indianapolis and are ready to explore everything that National Convention has to offer!

We would like to extend our gratitude to Mountain AirFrame here at the Mena Municipal Airport!
They welcomed our 4th grade GT in and gave us a tour of their facility. We got to see firsthand what we’ve been studying in the Civil Air Patrol units. The students LOVED our time with them!

Thank you to Mena alumni Aubrey Strunck. Mr. Strunck is a part of the class of 1958 and sent in a donation for a job yearbook students completed for him earlier this month. Check out his action shots from the ‘58 football season.

This donation will be used to provide a deserving student a free yearbook to be distributed in May.

Mena Middle School Project Prevent Team hosted a Red Ribbon Week Pep Rally. Mena Middle School and Holly Harshman Students celebrates being drug free. Students heard encouraging messages from Mena Fire Department’s Jacob Turner, Sheriff Deputy Underwood, Project Prevent students Skylar Bahr, Katy Goodnight, Annabelle Sprague and Melanie Cude. Thank you to the Mena Fire Department, Mena City Police and Polk County Sheriffs Department for supporting our students making the healthy choice to be nicotine and drug free! #projectpreventar
