Mena High School will be hosting a Spring Gala for all Juniors and Seniors on April 24th at CMA Iron Mountain from 6-8:30pm. The night, which will reflect "A Walk Down Memory Lane" will include a formal dinner and entertainment. Senior tickets are $15 and junior tickets are $30 and can be purchased from Ms.Hughes

The MHS Yearbook staff is excited to report that the design and overall creation of the 2021 Mena High School Yearbook has wrapped up, and the final pages were uploaded this morning to reach their end goal. While there's no doubt this school year will always be remembered as historic, the yearbook staff worked tirelessly to ensure the book reflected what a unique and memorable year it has been. You may still order a copy of the 216-page 2021 MHS Yearbook for $60 by ordering online at jostensyearbook.com with a debit or credit card, or by ordering through Mr. Philpot's room 205 at the high school with cash or check. The yearbooks will arrive and be distributed in mid-May.

Mena Baseball played at Fountain Lake on Tuesday & lost by a score of 1-11. That is the fourth loss in a row for the Bearcats who are now 2-6/0-3. Mena will play Bauxite on Thursday at Union Bank Park.

MMS ANNOUNCEMENTS Tuesday, March 16 th   I. The 7 th & 8 th grade Quiz Bowl teams will meet in the Conference room at the end of these announcements. II. Report cards will be handed out today in you ACHIEVE class. III. 6 th grade ETS students will be meeting tomorrow during ACHIEVE. IV. Here are the current standings in the Pennies for the Plunge competition. You still have 3 days left to get your ACHIEVE class in to 1 st place and win the donut party: 5 th Place – McCormick 4 th Place – Breedlove 3 rd Place – Swall 2 nd Place – Dollar 1 st Place – Huntington V. It has been decided that on the Monday that we return from Spring Break, we will return to our normal bell schedule, that we haven’t used since last year.
