There will be a BBQ dinner in the middle school cafeteria Friday before the game beginning at 5pm. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased Ms. Hobson or Mr.Morgan. To go plates are available also. Proceeds go to Mena Bearcat Band and the Bearcat Booster Club. Girls can sign up for a Powder Puff Football Tournament in Ms.Hobson’s room. Each class will have a team and compete against each other on November 4th. The cost is $3 to play and all proceeds go to Relay for Life. Spirit Week is September 30 - October 4 Dress up days are as follows. PLEASE make sure your spirit outfits are school appropriate and respectful or you will be asked to change. HoCo Car Bash and Bonfire will immediately follow in the high school parking lot. There will be a Homecoming Dance after the game Friday night in the Middle School cafeteria. It will cost $5 and ends at 11:30pm. The first NEHS meeting is Wednesday, October 2 in Room 207, Mrs. Neufeld’s room. Current members and those who expressed interest in NEHS during the Club Fair should attend the meeting.

The Mena Volleyball Team dominated Camden Fairview Tuesday @ the Union Bank Center. The Sr. JV won 2-1 & the Varsity won 3-0.. The Ladycats will host Little Rock McClellan on Thursday at 4pm... GO LADYCATS!

Mena played at Shiloh Christian Monday & won 3-1. The Ladycats will play at the Union Bank Center on Tuesday 10/1 against Fairview. Games begin at 4:30pm... GO LADYCATS!

Blood Drive Tuesday!

The Mena Basscats competed in the Trader Bills High School Bass Tournament on Sunday. Austin Johnston and Cason Cannon took 2nd place in the Senior high division. The Basscats will be back in action next weekend on Millwood Lake.

The Mena Sr Girls played in a tournament at Lakeside today. The Ladycats defeated Lake Hamilton and Pottsville 2-0 in pool play. Split with Marion 1-1 in pool play. The Ladycats tied for 1st in their pool & advanced to the gold bracket as the 2 seed. Mena fell to Lakeside, the eventual tournament champion, 2-0. The girls will play at Shiloh on Monday..

The Jr Ladycats played in the Jessieville Tournament on Saturday. The varisty won the championship in the Gold bracket against Batesville Southside. The JV won the championship in the silver bracket against Christian Ministries Academy. Go Ladycats!
