
The new cell phone lockers have arrived at Mena High School and Mena Middle School. Installation is expected to take several days. MHS Assistant Principal Celeste Ashcraft says, "Students are adjusting to the cell free zone. They are excited for learning, seem more alert, focused and more positive."

Day 2 of the Little Cats Cheer Camp at the Union Bank Center. The camp continues on Wednesday,Thursday, and Friday.

Day 2 at the Licking Team Volleyball Camp in Branson for the Jr. Ladycats. The season opener is August 22nd when Mena plays Booneville in the Union Bank Center.


The Jr. Bearcats hosted the Mena Team Camp on Tuesday at Bob Carver Bearcat Stadium. Teams from Waldron, Cossatot, Mt. Ida, and Ft. Lake Participated.
The Jr. Bearcats will scrimmage Mansfield on August 22nd at BCBS and the season opener is on August 29th when they play DeQueen.

The Mena Fire Department will be doing their yearly inspection at all Mena campuses this week. Preparations continue for the 2024-2025 school year that begins August 14th!
